Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

"Email Exporter for Google Sheets™" (the "Service") is a Google Workspace™ add-on that allows users to export email metadata from their Gmail™ account into a Google Sheets™ spreadsheet. The add-on operates within the Google Workspace™ environment using Google Apps Script.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of the Service, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Not use the Service to access, collect, or export email data that you are not authorized to access.
• Maintain the security of your Google account and credentials.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the add-on beyond what is visible in the Apps Script editor.
• Not use the Service in any way that could harm, disable, or impair Google services.
• Comply with Google's Terms of Service and API Services User Data Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• The developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• The developer shall not be liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
• The developer's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (which is zero for the free plan).
• The developer is not responsible for any actions taken by Google that affect the functionality or availability of the Service.

6. Availability Disclaimer

The Service depends on third-party infrastructure provided by Google (including Gmail™ API, Google Sheets™ API, and Google Apps Script). We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Maintenance or updates.
• Google service outages or API changes.
• Technical issues beyond our control.

We will make reasonable efforts to restore availability promptly but provide no guarantees regarding uptime.

7. Modification of Service

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the add-on from your Google account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

• You violate these Terms.
• Your use of the Service poses a security risk or could harm other users.
• Required by law or regulation.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Data already exported to your Google Sheets™ will remain in your spreadsheet.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing any legal action.
